17-13 Clemson late in the 4th. Drive downfield and have a huge play reviewed and overturned (despite his foot being in bounds!)
Make it 1st and goal eventually. Play action TD pass gets called back for holding. 3rd and inches get a false start call. 4th down I call a screen pass and get in but NOOOO! They say down at the 1 but the booth won't challenge the call? What gives?
Clemsons first play 99 yd TD pass. Game over... UGHHHH!!!

yea, thats pretty lame....I know how it feels when a play that SHOULD stand gets overturned, and others dont even get a review. The review thing on madden or ncaa never works right, and can screw you over.

This is something else I've also learned, if Madden or NCAA wants you to lose, you will lose. Your team may be the best ever, but if the football games want the computer to win, you will get penalties, ints, dropped passes, fumbles like crazy. Especially in Madden.
I was playing a dynasty game yesterday in my other dynasty, and NCAA tried to make me lose then. I was losing by 21 in the first quarter, but I said "screw you NCAA, you're not going to stop me." I started catching the ball and falling down, or running out of bounds so I couldn't possible fumble.

Did you end up winning that game? Or were your efforts futile?

Oh yea, I won my game. I spotted the guy 21 points, came back to beat him 38-26
Oops, I actually spotted him 20 points, he missed the PAT. Then he tried to go for 2 later, and didnt' make it. He only got 6 points after the first quarter.

Yea I've fell victim to the No F'n way game before where no matter what you do you will not win. Yet this one really pissed me off.
Right up there with the Super Tecmo Bowl game back in the day where my perfect season ended in the Super Bowl with a 52-7 rout as the CPU managed to pick every play right for 3 quarters. Not to mention the backup QB Mike Elkins rushed for 108 yards!!
Thank goodness we have till Tuesday to advance and another 3 days after that. I sure as hell don't feel like playing NCAA for a few days now.

There was this one time when I was playing 08 with Air Force against Tennessee to open the season. Expecting a loss going into the game, I decided to just play and see how things panned out.
It eventually ended up being a competitive game, as I was able to run the option incredibly well. The game went on, and it eventually went down to the fourth quarter when the game realized that I was close to pulling off a huge upset. So it went berserk on me.
Tennessee's offense could do no wrong. I was picked apart and was down 21-13 when they scored a TD to end their immaculate drive. So I got the ball, and did everything by the book. No jukes, no spins, no forced passes, just hit short routes and cover up the ball. I managed to score a TD, and went for the onside kick with a bit over a minute left. At this point in time I had learned the spot to kick the ball that gave me a very good chance of recovering it, and I did.
So I continued playing it safe, knowing that if I didn't the game would make me fumble or throw a pick, but this strategy was taking to long. So with about thirty seconds left, I tried to go a bit further down field. By further I mean throwing a WR screen up the middle (good play, can't remember what playbook) which isn't that deep at all. I get some key blocks, and my slow receiver has open field. I cross into field goal territory when a corner finally catches up. I'm not worried about the tackle, since I have a timeout left and an easy field goal to win the game.
But I never got to kick that field goal. The corner approaches, and I cover up the ball. A whole lot that did. The corner hits, the ball pops out, Tennessee recovers and I lose. It was going to be like a 30 yard field goal but the game refuses to let me win.
That still pisses me off to this day.

I had a game against a friend on madden this past year. I was not supposed to win. Willie Parker fumbled SIX times in the first quarter. I lost 4 of them. I said screw it, I'm throwing it every play. I would throw short and try to get out of bounds. My guys dropped almost every pass, and then when they started catching I would dive to the ground...guess what though? That wasn't good enough for madden. Sometimes, when I would dive and hit the ground, I would fumble, and since no one had touched me, the ball could cause the fumble.
That is the only time I've been so pissed off at Madden that I quit a game.

Dude, lol, I know what you mean. I played a game with Oldie last night and it seemed like it was made for me to lose. Not taking away from him he played a hell of a game, but it kills me that my HB went out on the flat to catch and pass and they called clipping on him, and picks, fumbles like crazy.
